Brandi passante gained fame after she was featured on A&E's "Storage wars', a reality show that starred Jarrod Schulz. Both received fame and recognition from the show. The reality TV show features items from storage lockers where rental isn't paid in three months are auctioned off. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop located in Orange, California participated in the auction hoping to buy some storage units for a low price. The couple had no idea that the show would transform them into reality TV stars. Over the course of the series, the couple proved to be extremely shrewd bidders, and eventually emerged as the main characters of the reality show. Their success on reality television helped their business which allowed them to grow. The success of their 'Storage War' appearance resulted in a spinoff show titled 'Brandi & Jarrod married to work, with a focus on the couple.
